Platform & Architecture

What exactly does Damisa do?

Damisa is an enterprise-grade financial infrastructure platform. We provide the routing technology and liquidity networks required for global businesses to collect, settle, and disburse high-volume B2B payments instantly, entirely bypassing the delays and hidden fees of legacy correspondent banking.

Is Damisa a bank?

No. Damisa is a financial technology company. We operate as a regulated infrastructure layer that sits on top of, and integrates directly with, tier-one global banking networks and local real-time clearing rails.

Do we need to manage digital asset infrastructure to use the platform?

No. Damisa handles all currency conversion and digital asset abstraction in the background. You never need to open a digital wallet, manage private keys, or hold digital assets on your balance sheet to benefit from our settlement speeds.

Accounts & Compliance

Accounts & Compliance

Are the vIBANs in our company's name?

Yes, you are provided with uniquely assigned virtual IBANs (vIBANs) that carry your company's name. This ensures that when external partners initiate payments, they see your corporate name, allowing for seamless routing, instant identification, and automated reconciliation of funds.

What is required for corporate onboarding, and how long does it take?

Onboarding requires standard corporate Know Your Business (KYB) documentation, including certificates of incorporation and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) verification. Following a successful compliance check, multi-currency accounts can be provisioned and ready to receive funds within 48 hours.

Can we manage multiple corporate entities from one dashboard?

Yes. Our platform is built for complex corporate structures. You can map multiple regional subsidiaries to your master dashboard, maintaining granular access controls and strict entity segregation.

Treasury & Liquidity

Treasury & Liquidity

Which specific currency corridors do you support?

We bridge major global currencies (EUR, USD, GBP) with complex emerging and frontier markets. We specialize in seamless local currency settlements, offering dedicated rails for many specific markets.

How fast do international cross-border payments settle?

By utilizing modern digital routing and deep local liquidity pools, Damisa settles transactions in seconds. We replace unpredictable T+3 SWIFT delays with instant, verifiable execution.

How do you handle foreign exchange (FX) and price slippage?

Damisa neutralizes volatility through instant programmatic conversion. There is zero price slippage. Our automated conversion ensures the exact fiat value of your invoice is locked and settled instantly into your master treasury balances at institutional execution rates.

Security & Operations

Security & Operations

Can we set custom user permissions for our finance team?

Absolutely. You can configure Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), requiring mandatory multi-signature approvals for high-value deployments or restricting specific users to "view-only" reporting access.

Where can we view our specific wallet and IBAN routing details?

All dedicated routing details and external account lists are clearly visible and categorised directly on your Damisa dashboard. We provide a self-managed environment where finance teams can cleanly separate external operations to eliminate the risk of misdirected funds.

Technical Integration

Technical Integration

Can Damisa integrate directly with our existing ERP system?

Yes. Damisa’s infrastructure acts as a seamless extension of your financial stack. Our RESTful API allows your systems to automate payment operations, while webhooks push real-time ledger data and transaction statuses directly into ERPs like NetSuite or SAP.

How complex is the API integration process?

Our architecture is designed for rapid deployment. Depending on your required modules, engineering teams can integrate and test within our secure sandbox environment in a matter of days, fully supported by our dedicated integration engineers.

What happens if an erroneous payment request is generated?

Finance teams have full control over the transaction lifecycle. Erroneous payment requests can be closed directly from the dashboard UI. If left un-actioned, pending requests will automatically expire after 30 days for security purposes.

Digital Assets & Smart Escrow

Digital Assets & Smart Escrow

Can we pay a vendor in crypto if we only hold fiat?

Yes. Damisa will automatically execute the fiat-to-stablecoin on-ramp at the exact moment of disbursement, ensuring the vendor receives digital assets while your treasury only interacts with traditional fiat.

How does the Damisa Commercial Escrow framework operate?

In our V1 Escrow framework, funds are held securely and released based on specific, programmatic conditions. Releases are triggered either automatically via pre-agreed chronological milestones or upon secure manual confirmation of delivery by authorized counterparties, eliminating counterparty risk in global trade.
